Site Manager, Skilled Worker & Helper

Site Manager (m/f/d) – Shipbuilding Division

You will be part of a motivated team in a dynamic shipbuilding environment with flat hierarchies. Initiative, commitment and a sense of responsibility from everyone, as well as warm camaraderie, characterise the appreciative culture of our family business.

How to get involved

  • On-site coordination and monitoring of construction projects, as well as planning of the site facilities (plant, equipment, etc.)
  • Ensuring compliance with schedules, costs and quality standards
  • coordinate staff deployment with colleagues
  • Briefing and instruction of the work crew on the construction site regarding the scope of work and work execution
  • Issuing work instructions (use of materials in accordance with the Hazardous Substances Ordinance, DGUV [German Social Accident Insurance], etc.)
  • Compliance with DGUV, Industrial Code, GGV
  • Arrange or supervise regular cleaning of the machinery and any necessary repairs
  • Resolution of issues arising during the construction phase

Your profile

  • Completed training in construction, e.g. as a bricklayer, screed worker or flooring layer (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification, ideally with further training as a construction manager (m/f/d) – e.g. master craftsman, technician or civil engineer (m/f/d)
  • Initial experience in site management or on the construction site
  • Organisational skills, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
  • Good knowledge of working with construction plans and standard MS Office applications
  • Good command of German and preferably also English
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills, driving licence category B (possibly category C/CE)
  • Willingness to travel, including abroad, should be possible for you
